10/15 11:25, 2006引述 :『A Japanese management strategy called Kaizen roughly translates to “continuous slow improvement." In the corporate world, it’s an efficiency and defect-proofing system often used on factory floors. But Kaizen emphasizes the well-being of the employee, working smarter, not harder and developing best practices so that workers don’t have to think. As such, Kaizen is an ideal approach to improve one’s personal workflow.』

slideshare test
Google Has Acquired YouTube
(Steve Chen)
Google Has Acquired YouTube (TechCrunch)
[odeo=http://odeo.com/audio/2121716/view]
Only a ‘moron’ would buy YouTube
- Steve Chen
- Sequoia Capital
(put in $11.5 million for 30%, YouTube is being acquired for $1.6 billion, Sequoia’s stake translates into approximately $480 million)
Getting Things Done
David spent 90 minutes explaining the GTD process to the 580 person bootcamp audience.
In Episode #7 of the Joe Polish Podcast, you get the first 20 minutes of the presentation.
[odeo=http://odeo.com/audio/319074/view]
Odeo guys talked about GTD after a David Allen speak
[odeo=http://odeo.com/audio/161426/view]
另外,在 Microsoft 的 Web Seminar Archive 裡也有 David Allen 的seminar: Knowledge Work Athletics
- Cliff Atkinson: Beyond Bullet Points 的作者
- Stephen Covey: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (中文版: 與成功有約) 的作者
ps. David Allen 的 Ready for Anything 也不錯看哦…:p
Google Group & Code Search
在 The new Groups experience 看到 Google Groups Beta 版的消息…
Google Groups Beta Tour, Groups Beta Overview
More developer love with Google Code Search 看到 Google Code Search 的消息
We’re crawling as much publicly accessible source code as we can find, including archives (.tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tar, and .zip), CVS repositories and Subversion repositories.
Google Code Search helps you find function definitions and sample code by giving you one place to search publicly accessible source code hosted on the Internet. With Google Code Search, you can:
- Use regular expressions to search more precisely
- Restrict your search by language, license or filename
- View the source file with links back to the entire package and the webpage where it came from
:PPP

Google Reader, New Interface
:PPP
Bloglines-like! :p
聽過一些喜歡原本介面的說法其實就像上面影片裡 Google Reader 的 engineer 說法一樣: “an inbox for the web"
RSS item,
:PPP
- 24 Feb 2006 : Drag ‘n’ Drop – Just in Time for Spring Cleaning
- 28 Sep 2006 : The Wizard Behind the Curtains
21 July 2006 : Listening to Podcast in Bloglines
:PPP
TED Talks
http://www.ted.com/tedtalks/index.cfm
- Malcom Gladwell:〈Blink
- Steven Levitt:〈
- Mena Trott: Six Apart founder
- Jimmy Wales: Wikipedia founder
- Nicholas Negroponte: MIT Media Lab founder
Ross Lovegrove is an industrial designer, best known for his work on the Sony Walkman and Apple iMac. In this highly visual presentation, he presents his recent work—from furniture to water bottles—which is organic in form and inspired by nature. (Recorded February 2005 in Monterey, CA. Duration: 20:14)
Ze Frank rose to Internet fame in 2001 with his viral video “How to Dance Properly," and has been a purveyor of imaginative online comedy ever since. (Recorded February 2004 in Monterey, CA. Duration: 19:42)
Keynote
Updated:
Malcolm Gladwell is a staff writer for The New Yorker, and best-selling author ofThe Tipping Point and Blink. In this talk, filmed at TED2004, he explains what every business can learn from spaghetti sauce. (Recorded February 2004 in Monterey, CA. Duration: 18:15)
